The Curriculum
California Preschool Curriculum Framework
We use the California Preschool Curriculum Framework to guide the learning strategies that we use in the classroom. We believe that children learn best through play. We include a balance of teacher guided activities, as well as child-directed activities.
We strategically design our classroom layout, routines, and materials that invite and engage children to explore.
Finally, we use differentiated instruction to ensure that we meet the needs of each child

Assessments
We use formative and authentic assessments to ensure that each child is receiving the support they need to meet their learning goals.
Twice a year, we will ask for your help to complete the Ages and Stages Questionnaire (ASQ) at home. This authentic assessment provides a snapshot of how your child applies their learning and development at home.
Your child's teacher will also use class observations to complete the Desired Results Development Profile (DRDP).
Parent-Teacher conferences are available twice a year.
